Abstract Arden Clegg (b. 1924) was born in Heber, Utah, and grew up in Utah County. He was drafted into the army and went to Europe on the British ship . He did not participate in the D-Day invasion, but arrived in France via Omaha Beach a few days after the invasion. Among other things, Cleff was a medic. He was a medic in the First General Hopspital on V-E day and describes his recollection of the celebration in Paris. 45 pages.
