Bonnet, Jacques (1664-1724) À Paris, Chez d’Houry fils... 1724 avec Privilège du Roy Jacques Bonnet described the dances of antiquity, listed the ballets performed at European courts between 1450 and 1723, and described several of these in detail. The treatise was put together from the manuscripts of Pierre Bourdelot, and it was itself later regarded as an authoritative source by Louis de Cahusac and others.
