Luther Mann reports that he is recruiting as many Indians as possible to attend a Peace Commission. His letter regards lodging for groups of Shoshone, Bannock, and Washakie Indians coming through Ft. Bridger. Mann gives them flour and beef in efforts to keep them at the agency;
