Sir:
Replying to your telegram of the 24th instant, I have
notified Inspector McLaughlin of the refusal of Charlie Mack to
go to Casper, at the same time telling him that you will send
Henry Johnson, a former Carlisle student,in his stead, and advised
him that if Johnson's services are not satisfactory he
might communicate with you. If he is satisfied with the services
of Johnson, this Office has no objections.
