This document contains a report of a conflict in American Fork between Walker and Arrapeen and the "Snake Indians". John W. Jones also gives an account of an Indian battle near Bear River, in which Jones claims he came across the burned remains of two Indian towns while traveling with a company of emigrants. Jones encounters a white settler who describes the battle;
