Dear Friends ot st. Christcpher's Mission to the Navajo,
Greetings tr,m Navajblandt
Today the fierce desert sun is a brilliant gem set in a deep blue, cloudless
sky. Only an occasional vapor trail carelessly left by a passing jet :i.nterrupts
this glorious setting. Here below work goes on -- 11 ttle ::he ~1p herders
watch over their flocks, children play, mothers cook and weave, t he Missi on
staff and workers are engaged in pastoral duties. Father Liebler, helen and
sally are having a five-day Church School at MOonlight, while Father W~y~e
and the rest are bus.y with the Mis$ion and its problems.
In order to give some direction to requests from individuals and gr~u~J '3~ Tre
thought it wise to publish from time to time a list whfch i!lQj.ud e~l tl':!.B lfl0!.,t
needed projects and items. We leave the choice entirely up to t~1 e pe!'so'1S
involved and ask only that you advise U8 when you h2.ve mac~e a e e:i.e~i:·j·Xi.0 If
we can we will try to assist you in some way tha'(', i-Jill CO:l'iS:.~~ :'lf:i ·\·l"n·;o:~ !,y

limited, sketchy and inadequate.
