Description This was a newspaper article entitled " written by Annie Nuttall Baker's grandson, Henry Nuttall. In the article printed by the Provo Herald, Nuttall explains how his grandmother traveled from Scandinavia and settled in Utah. Upon arrival Swansessee, whom Nuttall refered to as an Indian Chief, requested that Annie marry him. When her family refused to grant permssion, Chief Swansessee warned that the settlement would experience troubles from the local Indians if his request was not granted. Her family still refused and after many different hardships followed by requests of marriage from Swansesse, Annie Baker agreed to marry him.
