Dr. Atiya thanks Dr. Jones for his letter of October 15, 1956, and refers to the mission of the Institute of Coptic Studies in Cairo, Egypt. He also invites Dr. Jones to visit the Institute some day and see "what we are doing there."

Dr. Jones is President of the Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Jones does not know if he will be able to attend, but sends his "cordial and fraternal good wishes as you assume this significant responsibility in the life of theological education."
