Further Information This photograph is a copy of the original and is in very good condition. Arbogast served as President of Westminster College from 1963 to 1968, during which Bamberger Hall was constructed and the W.T. Nightingale Memorial Library was opened; he also served as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Utah Council for Higher Education. Arbogast was born on August 6, 1906, in Pueblo, Colorado. He received a B.S. from the University of Utah, an M.S. from the University of Denver, an Ed.D. from the University of Utah, and a Litt.D. from Westminster College post-resignation. Before serving as President of Westminster College, Arbogast was a teacher at and a principal of numerous elementary, middle, and high schools in the Salt Lake area. Upon his resignation as President of Westminster College in 1968, he took on the role as director of Federal Government Programs for Westminster College. Mr. Arbogast's religious affiliation was with the Methodist Church.
