This Plan provides for the future water needs of Washington County as if faces overwhelming growth and continued depletion of existing surface water and groundwater sources. The goals are to conserve water by improving the quality of surface water reducing seepage and evaporation, managing drought, enhancing the watershed, improving irrigation practices, educating the public, and passing conservation ordinances.
