Description Photo by Frank A. Beckwith. In the Klondyke Bluff region, adjacent to the Arches National Monument, southeastern Utah. The arch is a narrow upright slab of sandstone, standing like a board on edge; the narrowness is shown by the shadow under the arch, which shows the sunlight beyond a narrow zone. At the left rises abruptly a tower of red, capped with white. Seen from several miles distance, a series of these white caps gives rise to the local name, "The Cream Puffs." The height of the tower is about 175 feet
