| History |
A 14-year-old Vietnamese girl presented 9/18/95 with a complaint of dimming of vision, central scotoma and pain involving the right eye for 4 weeks. The patient attributed the onset to being hit in the right periorbital region by a passing swimmer 4 weeks before her presentation |

| Clinical |
Ophthalmologic examination revealed corrected visual acuity of 20/25 in the right eye and 20/25+2 in the left eye. Her refraction was significantly more hyperopic in the right eye, +1.25 diopters on the right and -0.50 diopters on the left. Pupillary reactions, brightness sense, color vision testing and Amsler grid testing were each normal for both eyes. Tangent field testing showed an enlarged blind spot and Humphrey visual field testing showed a mild cecocentral scotoma in the right eye. There was a 25% limitation in supra-duction of the right eye and forced supraduction of the right eye was positive. |
