The Brown and Sanford Ditch took its water out of Big Cottonwood Creek near where the water treatment plant is today. The concrete box on the right is the remains of the stilling station, which was used to measure water flow in the ditch. The small wooden dwellling above the station has been pulled over into the concrete-lined ditch.
