Description
The Cannon Farm-- A copy of a painting by C. Eisele, an itinerant German artist, painted in 1892. The farm was located on 8th West and 13th South, and faces east. Residences belong to: Wm. T. Cannon (son of Eliza), Eliza Tenney Cannon, Sarah Jane Jenne Cannon, Martha Telle Cannon, the school house, Elizabeth Hoagland Cannon and Caroline Young Cannon. THe Elizabeth Hoagland home was the original farm home and was always known as "The Farmhouse." U.H.Q. Vol 48, 1980. Gift of Phil Winder.
