Allen Edward and William Hooper Stout were sons of Hosea Stout. Hosea Stout was a prominent civic and religious leader in Utah. He came to Utah as a Mormon Pioneer in 1848 and is credited for his legal insight, mission to China, and detailed historic diaries of Mormon pioneer life.
