William Spry (Republican), at a New York Navy Yard before the presentation of silver service to the Battleship U. S. S. Utah, served as Goveror of Utah from 1909-1917. He is most known for securing funds to build the capitol and for his choice to not intervene in the famous Joe Hill murder case.
