George Q. Cannon (3rd from left) is shown with the staff of the Western Standard, a San Francisco paper, in 1851. George Q. Cannon was an original pioneer of 1847, a businessman, a Utah delegate to Congress, was imprisoned for practicing polygamy, and was a counselor in the first presidency of the LDS Church.
