The pin inscription reads, "Trains have always signified freedom. The freedom to travel, to see the countryside, to facilitate our lives. Trains have always been a significant part of history. Utah holds a special place in the history where the transcontinental railroads met in 1869. The Country was united by this event. In this we no only want to celebrate the uniting of the U.S. but of the World in the Olympic Spirit."
