Image shows several men posing for a photograph next to a Shay engine at a Carbon County railroad yard.
This Shay locomotive was actually owned by the Southern Utah Railroad Company. Although the original Shipler caption labeled it as the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad, the Southern Utah Railroad was actually a private company which had no affiliation with the Denver and Rio Grande.
