Description Dr Lee was born in Ogden, Utah in 1932. Dr Lee received his B.S. (1953) and his M.D. (1956) from the University of Utah. Dr Lee did his Internship at Boston City Hospital from 1956-1957. Dr Lee returned to the University where he completed his Residency and was a Postdoctoral Fellow in clinical hematology from 1957-1963. Dr Lee was Associate Professor from 1963-1973. Dr Lee was Associate Dean of Academic Affairs from 1973-1976. Dr Lee became Professor of Medicine in 1973. Dr Lee was Dean of the School of Medicine from 1978-1984. Dr Lee retired in 1996 as Emeritus Professor of Internal Medicine. The portrait of Dr Lee was painted by Randall Bruce Lake in 1985, and is located on the west wall of the main staircase well between the main floor and lower level of the Eccles Health Sciences Library.
