Description Dr Renzetti was born in New York City in 1920. Dr Renzetti received both his A.B. from Columbia University (1941) and his M.D. (1944). Dr Renzetti was Assistant and Chief Resident of Chest Disease at Bellevue Hospital, New York. Dr Renzetti was Assistant Professor of Industrial Medicine at the Post Graduate Medical School at New York University from 1949-1951. Dr Renzetti first came to the University of Utah in 1952 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr Renzetti left in 1953 to become Assistant Professor of Medicine at the College of Medicine, State University of New York, Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York from 1953-1959. Dr Renzetti was Associate Professor there from 1959-1960. From 1960-1961, Dr Renzetti was an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland. Dr. Renzetti returned to the University of Utah in 1961 as Chair of the Pulmonary Disease Division serving in that capacity until 1987. During that time, Dr Renzetti was Associate Professor and Professor of Medicine until his retirement as  Emeritus Professor of anesthesiology in 1990. Dr Renzetti served also consultant at the VA Medical Center (1970-1985). Dr Renzetti died in 2004.
