Description Postcard of the Museum and Normal Buildings on the University of Utah campus. The Museum Building, built in 1902, housed the Medical School classes on the third floor until the Medicine Building was built and occupied in 1920. The Normal Building, built in 1901 housed the Normal School which was a two year school which trained mainly elementary teachers. The Museum Building was named the James E. Talmadge Building in 1976 and the Normal Building was named the Alfred C. Emery Building in 1980.
