Dr Wong was born in 1936. Dr Wong received his undergraduate training at Iowa State University. Dr Wong received his MD degree from the University of Iowa. Dr Wong was named Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology in 1976 and served in that capacity until 1999. Dr Wong was Professor of Anesthesiology and Pharmacology. Dr Wong was Chairman of the International Anesthesia Research Society. Dr Wong was instrumental in establishing anesthesia education in China and Taiwan and in the creation of the Chinese Journal of Anesthesia and Analgesia. Dr Wong died in 2006. |
