| Description |
Dr Ezyaguirre was born in Santiago, Chile in 1923. Dr Ezyaguirre received both his B.A. (1940) and M.D. (1947) from the University of Chile. After Post-doctoral work at the Johns Hopkins University, Dr Ezyaguirre returned to the University of Chile as Assistant and Associate Professor of Neurophysiology and Pharmacology at Catholic University from 1950-1957. Dr Ezyaguirre joined the faculty of the University of Utah in 1957. Dr Ezyaguirre was Chair of the Department of Physiology from 1965-1988. Dr. Eyzaguirre retired as Professor Emeritus in 2005 and returned to Chile. Dr Eyzaguirre died in 2009. |
