Description The dirt roads of Vernal were well traveled by horses, wagons and early automobiles. To combat the dust caused by this heavy traffic, Vernal City purchased a sprinkling wagon. This horse pulled water tank was contracted out annually. John Corless won the contract to sprinkle the roads and did so for ten year.
