Description A V.E. Day celebrating the surrender of Germany was held in Vernal. A parade preceding the program highlighted the event. The American Legions color guard, the Uintah High School Girls Pep Club and the entire high school student body accompanied the Uintah High School band in the march down Main Street. Men and women are seen crowded in a car as part of the parade. The Conoco Service in the Cobblerock Corner are in the background.
