The text of this 1961 Christmas card reads: "The Lord has truly blessed us with spiritual leaders during the past 75 years. May we all live worthy to receive His blessings this Christmas season and throughout the coming year of 1962." Included are photographs of the first white stake house on Main Street and the later stake house at 475 West 100 South in Vernal. Photographs of past stake presidents include: S. R. Bennion, 1886-1906; William H. Smart, 1906-1910; Don B. Colton, 1910-1921; Wallace Calder, 1921-1931; Hyrum B. Calder, 1931-1943; Archie Johnson, 1943-1956; and William B. Wallis, 1956. Photographs of the then-current stake presidency include Frank R. Walker, Brian O'Neil and J. Ross Merrell.
