James Reese Potter was born on July 20, 1896 in Midway, Utah to Wallace Edwin Potter and Harriett Susan Kempton Potter. He served in World War I and was promoted to sergeant. His parents moved to Vernal in 1917 and lived there for about four years. This photograph was published in the 1918-02-22 issue of the Vernal Express. He died on July 8, 1970 in San Francisco, California. |
