4-H Clubs began in Vernal about 1919. Miss Jennie Taylor, Domestic Science teacher at Uintah Academy, supervised the clubs during the summer months. Some of the members were Thora King, Hildred Aycock, Carmilia Cowley, Maud Martin, Olive Martin, Lois Martin, Vidella Behrman, Lula Weeks, Lois Dayton, Beulah Black , and Martha Bullock. Maud and Bea Stringham were leaders. People in this photo are not identified.
