Description These steel cables, placed across the Green River, support the suspension bridge that will be and important link between Vernal and Dutch John and Flaming Gorge construction area. The bridge, scheduled for completion by June 1959, will enable Dutch John residents to visit Vernal with the minimum of difficulty. With the completion of the bridge and the road the present 98 mile drive will be cut in half.
