Article from newspaper stated that "A fine community spirit and cooperation from the general public is helping to make Vernal Ball Park a popular recreation center. Over seventy persons turned out with rakes and shovels to clean up the diamonds. Weeds were raked and rocks collected and hauled off. The park is expected to be a major community attraction. No picture inckuded in paper.
