Production of radioactive isotopes for use in medicine, veterinary and agricultural science and industry is steadily increasing with a greater appreciation of their worth. Most valuable from the medical point of view is perhaps radioactive iodine, followed closely by phosphorous and sodium. Doubtful though many industrialists are about isotopes in general, they are gradually being convinced that for certain special purposes they can be used effectively and safely.
