The Oil Recovery Committee, Independent Petroleum Association of America, in response to requests and in recognition of expanded interest in the application of thermal methods of oil recovery, has sponsored the compilation of the following bibliography, with literature and patent references, and author and source indices. The literature covered ranges from inception of the subject through March 1965. The bibliography was made in the Bureau of Mines Petroleum Research Center, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, by V. Vern Hutchison, Librarian. No particular literature search has been made in foreign language publications that have not been translated into the English language.
