Image was scanned from color slide. Asahi Kan is one of historical inns facing Futamigaura (Bay of Futami), Japan. The city of Futami became part of the city of Ise in 2005. Tokonoma is a section of a Japanese room, in which a platform is raised for diplays of kakejiku (art/calligraphy scrolls), ikebana, koto, ceramics, vases, pottery, and other kinds of art display. |
