Brother Harry,
I got your letter and was glad you wrote. We are
all well.
So this I will tell you. You stay home all time.
We going take paper ever and get peyote wrights for you
people over their and you have to sign it. Be careful
who you write to. One man that stays around among
the Sioux name Henry White. He selling peyote, and
he is a money man all he wants is money, high price
He is not Sioux. He is different tribe and all the
Sioux don't like his ways see I am going take this
paper home and have it fixed up for us.
Then we let you know. The Sioux are; going or
are working hard for this peyote they can talk good
white man.
I hear you going come to Nebraska on- Christmas.
But you better stay at home. They will fix it up for
us and about the peyote chief you wait awhile till
he gets some some busy with the law. Sam will send
you some peyote to Durango a big box, $50.00 one
pretty soon their will be a man over their to get
a charter for you.
Then nobody can't do nothing with you about peyote.
