Description Color photograph of a Navajo woman with an infant in her lap. A nurse and a doctor are treating the infant. They are inside a building with the lord's prayer on the wall. Various jars and bottles on the table. A missionary nurse applies medication to a Navajo child under the direction of a volunteer Mission doctor. Such clinics are instrumental in discovering cases of incipient tuberculosis, or glaucoma, and other infectious diseases that have scourged the Navajos in the past."
