Collection Inventory +/-Content Description +/-This collection consists of a handful of issues of newsletters and catalog editions of the publication Westminster College bulletin dating 1914-1922 and published by Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah. While it is similar to the The Utah Westminster, the relationship between the two publications remains unclear, mainly because there are so few surviving issues of the newsletter editions of the Bulletin. The only surviving issues of the Bulletin belong to its first three volumes with subsequent volumes only containing the catalog editions. The Bulletin appears to serve the same function as The Utah Westminster, to serve as a "monthly bulletin which will aim to be a news letter, bringing important and interesting facts concerning the college to the friends of the institution." Its first issue addressed the conditions of the Presbyterian Church and Westminster College. Other issues addressed topics such as equipment, budget issues, special lecturers, dedication of the President’s home, reasons to attend Westminster College, and commencement ceremonies. The catalog editions of the Bulletin are also similar to the catalog editions of The Utah Westminster, in this case published as the annual catalog for both Westminster College and the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute. The Bulletin catalogs contained the history of the college, why to choose Westminster, description of departments and courses, tuition and fees, lists of graduates, and other admission information.
