Birds gather at a spillway where salt water from the Pacific Ocean flows into a large wetland area; birds gathered to feed on a school of fish and included numerous cormorants and snowy egrets, a Great Egret, a Great Blue Heron and numerous gulls; winds 3-4 mph, temperature 64 degrees Fahrenheit, humidity 68%; high level of automobile noise from nearby highway one; elevation sea level; local time approximately 4:10 PM
