Residential area in Pasadena; Yellow-headed parrots are endangered in their native Mexico, but populations (likely descended from escaped pets) exist in downtown and residential Pasadena; red-crowned parrots also in large numbers in this flock; local time between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM; skies clear, winds calm; temperature approximately 60 degrees Fahrenheit based on high and low temperatures recorded by the National Weather Service for the area
