Temperature was 60 degrees Fahrenheit with 65% humidity;
Windspeed was 0 mph;
Elevation was 9,233 feet;
Prominent vegetation included aspen/spruce forest;
There was heavy woodpecker activity in the area possibly due to regional and local spruce beetle infestations;
Red crossbills were also observed and recorded; Recorded with Sennheiser MKH 30 and MKH 40 microphones in a stereo MS pattern to a Sound Devices 722 recorder with 44.1 kHz/24 bit sampling rate; Local Time: 7:00 AM
