Note	Sounds were recorded from 8 - 10 PM on a very windy night on the outskirts of Chico, Butte County, California; Pacific chorus frogs are also heard; Air temperature was 63 degrees Fahrenheit, elevation, approx. 180 feet; Spadefoots were calling from hidden locations at the edge of flooded depressions on a grassy plain near a permanent creek; Local Time: Between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM
