Recording Description
Audible vocalizations of Mexican free-tailed bats recorded in an urban setting in northern Utah
Microphones were attached to a long pole and raised close to a Mexican free-tailed bat colony nesting in the awnings of an old warehouse. These are audible social vocalizations from roosting bats. Recorded using a pair of DPA 4060 microphones to a Sony DAT Walkman recorder at a 44.1 kHz sampling rate.; Local Time: Approximately 9:00 PM
