The recording was made in a small grove of trees on the edge of a meadow at the base of Bald Mountain in the Uinta Mountains of Utah. Time was approximately 7:00 AM. Temperature was approximately 50 degrees Fahrenheit. A recorder was left at the location and retrieved after several hours of recording. The mountain goat was not observed. Equipment used: Sennheiser MKH30 and MKH40 microphones recording in an MS pattern to a Sound Devices 722 recorder at a 44.1 kHz/24 bit sampling rate.; Local Time: 7:00 AM
